 I Am Nojoom, Age 10 and Divorced is a 2014 Yemeni drama film directed by Khadija al-Salami. It was selected as the Yemeni entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards, the first time that Yemen had submitted a film for consideration. However, it was not nominated. The film is based on the story of Nujood Ali, who sought divorce from her abusive husband at age 10.
A true story about a ten-year-old girl, forced to marry a man twenty years her senior. She tries to free herself from this violent relationship by filing for divorce at a Yemeni court. Khadija Al-Salami is Yemen’s first female filmmaker and belongs to a new generation of Arab women filmmakers whose work is currently screened in EYE.
The opening film in EYE’s programme is an adaptation of the international bestseller about 10-year old Nujood, who made international headlines in 2009 when she protested against her arranged marriage. Nujood became the figurehead of the fight against child brides in Yemen. According to figures of the United Nations and the Yemeni government, some 50% of Yemeni girls are married before they are 18, while 15% is married before the age of 15.
The girls are taken away from their families with the promise of a moderate dowry and the argument that there will be ‘one mouth less to feed’. Nojoom’s husband, however, forces his young bride to do hard work and rapes her every night – a legitimate and acceptable act in the eyes of the majority, but not for Nojoom.

Once we arrived on location, we connected instantly with Man, a boy who had a story very close to our vision. Son of Samila became a hybrid film, a mix between fiction and reality, just like our character’s world.”

SK. Pôvodný televízny film o chlapcovi z mesta, ktorý nachádza na dedine ozajstných kamarátov.
Malý Paľo se vrací domů z pochodového cvičení. Ve schránce nalézá pohled o d kamaráda Štefana z Ilanova. Chce, aby tam přijel Paľo na prázdniny. Rodiče chtějí, aby jel s nimi na Jaltu. Nu, nakonec cestuje vlakem do Ilanova. Pavel přibezl Štefanovi dýku, legrace je v tom, že Štefan koupil Pavlovi naprosto stejnou. Další den u budovaného „koupaliště“ vzniká spor. Pavel nestavěl, a Vincek nechce, aby se tedy zde koupal. Pavel tedy s kamarádem a holkou odchází. Nalézají přilbu, do které natrhají maliny. S těmito přijdou opět ke „koupališti“. Za maliny je možno se vykoupat, jenže kluci je sežrali všechny do jedné. Dochází k pořádné Bukovské pranici. Později se kluci koupou jen tak, protože spadli do vody při chytání pstruha. Vinco jim sebere šaty a hodí do vody, což vidí jejich kamarádka Julka a také později pěkně práskne. Jenže kluci museli s hanbou nahatí domů. Za to Vincovi rozebralo kolo a jeho součástky rozvěsili po stromě. Vinco jim za to zažene husy do jahod, když při jejich hlídání usnou...

This otherwise straightforward movie that chronicles the conflict between a man's romantic urges and the feminist ideal and a custody battle over the man's young son has a cataclysmic ending which is not for the fainthearted. In the story, Gerard (Gerard Depardieu) is an engineer who has just been left by his wife (Zouzou) for feminist reasons and has custody of his nine-month old son, whom he cares for deeply. When his next romance with Valerie (Ornella Muti), his son's daycare worker, threatens that custody, he responds by emasculating himself with a knife.

 Frau Born ist Ende dreißig, von Beruf Tankwartin, sie ist geschieden und Mutter von zwei Kindern. Ihr Sohn Micha ist zehn Jahre alt und hat sich zur “Freude” seiner Mutter einen Namen als junger “Erfinder” gemacht: er erfindet Rauchpatronen und ahnliche Sachen, die Meta Born fur absolut uberflussig halt. Aber auch mit ihrer Tochter Susi gibt es “Stress”: sie ist 17 Jahre alt, sehr hubsch und blond, begeisterte Tragerin von Minirocken, die ihr sehr gut stehen. Auch Susi hat es von Zeit zu Zeit mit dem “Erfinden”, denn sie spricht von “Freundinnen”, mit denen sie ins Kino oder zum Bummeln geht, wahrend sie sich in Wirklichkeit mit “Mannlichkeiten” abgibt. Meta Born geht es im Verhaltnis zu ihrer Tochter wie anderen Muttern: fur sie ist die 17jahrige noch ein Kind. Als sie endlich begreift, dass dies nicht mehr so ist, ist sie zunachst ratlos. So sucht sie die Unterstutzung ihres Sohnes, der aus Susi “aufpassen” soll. Offensichtlich geht seine diesbezugliche Aktivitat aber in die falsche Richtung, denn er betatigt sich als “Amor” und organisiert ein Treffen seiner Schwester mit Dieter Bellmann, einem Pfleger des Berliner Tierparks.

He doesn't quite have the hang of it and after several failures gets it working properly on Hsiao Po. The process is interrupted when Hsiao Wen takes a piss on the control panel. The boys escape and the process is eventually completed by the evil scientist's good brother, and we have our superhero. What follows is a group sing-a-long at an amusement park, motorcycle chases and fights between our hero and lots of bad guys in ridiculous costumes.

 DE. Paul, genannt „Männchen“, lebt mit seiner Tochter, genannt „Herzblatt“, zusammen, die er nach dem Tod seiner Frau allein großgezogen hat. Den Anleitungen eines Buches von Dr. Seebauer gemäß hat er Herzblatt beigebracht, ihrem Körper nicht schamhaft gegenüberzustehen. Auch die Nacktheit eines Menschen ist normal, hat Herzblatt schon in jungen Jahren erfahren. Dies führte bei ihr zu einer Fixierung auf den Vater, der ihr Vater, Mutter, Freund und Spielgefährte zugleich ist. Selbst jetzt, wo Herzblatt weit in der Pubertät sein sollte, badet sie noch gemeinsam mit ihrem Vater, wobei beide Spaß am Seifenschaumschlagen haben, und bewegt sich ungeniert nackt in der Wohnung und auf der Dachterrasse, weil sie sich ihrer Wirkung auf Männer nicht bewusst ist. Paul sucht sich Rat bei Dr. Seebauer, der vorschlägt, für Herzblatt einen jungen Mann zu suchen, der ihre Aufmerksamkeit von Paul zu ihrem Partner lenken soll.

Na prašnom tavanu njene stare kuće pronalaze neobičan pištolj koji je napravio Mirov pradjed, smušeni izumitelj. Otkrivaju da je to zapravo antigravitacijski pištolj koji oduzima gravitaciju predmetima i lansira ih u svemir. Dječaci namještaju pištolj i počinju slati stvari u zrak, uzrokujući pomutnju. Međunarodna špijunska organizacija pokušava doći do moćnog oružja. Otimaju dječake, a policija je nemoćna.

Two boys, Miro from Zagreb and Pepek from Prague, are amateur radio operators. They are spending their summer holidays at Miro's aunt on the island of Hvar. In the dusty attic of the aunt's house they find a strange pistol made by Miro's grand-grandfather, an absent-minded inventor. They find out that the pistol is, in fact, an anti-gravity device that deprives objects of the gravity and launches them into space. The boys turn the pistol on and start sending things into space, causing mayhem. An international spy organization tries to get hold of the powerful weapon. They abduct the boys and police can do nothing about it.

1. Daddy. 1973.
A fantasy about a woman’s attempts to exorcise the influence of her sexually domineering father.
Peter Whitehead and Niki de Saint Phalle's 1973 film Daddy (UK) was an angry retort to oppressive regimes, particularly that most destructive one of childhood sexual abuse. But its power lies equally in its ambivalence and, in the end, its profound negativity. While Whitehead and de Saint Phalle resolutely sought to free representations of women from the triad of narcissism, masochism, and passivity, insisting that the feminine is home to the full range of aggressive and sexual drives, they also stripped away even the most facile hopes for a better world. In this, Whitehead and de Saint Phalle joined other creative radicals of the 1960s and 1970s (such as poets like Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton, who wrote eloquently about both female resistance and resignation in the face of paternal sexual abuse) in presenting a pessimistic account of late modernity.
In the section entitled "The Monster," Daddy sexually abuses the Daughter during a game of Blind Man. The daughter's response is ambivalent: she wants to scream; she promises to "lead [Daddy] to many countries" and to "conquer the world" for him; she commands "Down on your knees Daddy, say please say please ... Dirty dirty Daddy." The Daughter's abuse is symptomatic of the Daddy's cruelty generally: Daddy also beats and rapes the Mother. When the Daughter dons her Mother's wig, Daddy punishes her by locking her in a dark cupboard.

She became famous and popular for her Nanas, colorful sculptures of big and cheerful women, and for the cooperation with Jean Tinguely. The frame of this film is a tour through her tarot garden in Tuscany.

 In an old house in Hanoi, Bi, a 6-year-old child lives with his parents, his aunt and their cook. His favorite playgrounds are an ice factory and the wild grass along the river. After being absent for years, his grandfather, seriously ill, reappears and settles at their house. While Bi gets closer to his grandfather, his father tries to avoid any contact with his family. Every night, he gets drunk and goes and see his masseuse, for whom he feels a quiet strong desire. Bi's mother turns a blind eye on it. The aunt, still single, meets a 16-year-old young boy in the bus. Her attraction to him moves her deeply.

FR. Après la guerre est un film français réalisé en 1988 par Jean-Loup Hubert et sorti en 1989.
Les Américains viennent de débarquer. Dans un petit village du sud de la France, on s'apprête à fêter les libérateurs. Trois jeunes garçons, Julien, Antoine et Gaby, au lieu de répéter avec le reste de la fanfare, préfèrent guetter l'arrivée des Américains qu'ils annoncent à la vue d'une file de blindés. Mais c'étaient les Allemands en train de se replier. Le maire est tué et l'on prévoit un châtiment exemplaire pour les garçons. Gaby est pris tandis que les deux frères Julien et Antoine s'enfuient vers Lyon pour y retrouver leur mère. Ils découvrent alors, réfugié dans un moulin, un soldat allemand cloué au sol par une sciatique. Franz-Joseph est en fait un déserteur et s'il parle si bien le français, c'est parce que sa mère est alsacienne. Après avoir été soigné par une rebouteuse, Franz accepte de faire route avec les deux garçons. Commence une longue marche dans les forêts pendant laquelle Julien et Antoine vont se prendre d'affection pour leur "ennemi", cet homme amer qui n'aime pas la guerre. Deux "collabo" en train de s'enfuir procurent à Franz des habits et une moto et le trio repart. Ils arrivent dans un village étrangement désert. Pendant que les garçons dorment, Franz découvre que les habitants ont été massacrés par les Allemands. Et quand un soldat américain l'aperçoit, Franz, bouleversé, s'accuse en allemand du massacre. Quelques minutes plus tard il est fusillé sous les yeux de Julien et d'Antoine.
