Eleven year old immigrant girl Amy (Fathia Youssouf), originally hailing from Senegal, lives with her mother Mariam (Maïmouna Gueye) in one of the Paris poorest neighbourhoods in an apartment along with her two younger brothers awaiting for her father to rejoin the family from Senegal. Things turn swiftly as Amy is fascinated by a disobedient neighbour Angelica's (Médina El Aidi-Azouni) twerking clique called Cuties, an adult-style dance troupe which has contrasting fortunes and characteristics to Mariam's traditional customs, values and traditions.

PL. Poetycka opowieść o pierwszych miłosnych nadziejach i rozczarowaniach. Dwunastoletni Edek przyjeżdża na wakacje do ciotki Heli, mieszkającej nad jeziorem. Poznaje tam grupę swoich rówieśników, a wśród nich uroczą Monikę. Spacerują po lesie, chodzą na plażę, jednak znajomość kończy się, gdy Monika zostawia Edka dla Alka, który ma bogatych rodziców, a zakochana w Edku Honorka zdradza mu tajemnicę Moniki.
EN. A poetic story about the first love hopes and disappointments. Twelve-year-old Edek comes on vacation to his aunt Hela, who lives by the lake. There he meets a group of his peers, and among them the charming Monika. They walk in the woods, go to the beach, but the relationship ends when Monika leaves Edek for Alka, who has rich parents, and Honorka, who is in love with Edek, reveals Monika's secret to him.
